Highlights in the area

  • Bicycle path Meran- Malles: Our campsite recently had a direct connection to the 60-kilometer cycle path that runs from Malles to Meran. If you have not brought your bike with you, there are 7 bike rental shops along the railway line from Meran to Mals where the bikes can also be returned independently of the rental station: Meran train station, Naturns train station, Latsch train station, Schlanders train station, Spondinig train station and Malles train station .

  • St. Martin cable car: The valley station of the St. Martin cable car is right next to our campsite. The gondola takes you to 1740 meters above sea level to the small mountain farming village of St. Martin with its traditional snack stations. On the Vinschger Sonnenberg you have a variety of circular hiking and high mountain trails, as well as mountain bike trails at your disposal.

  • Tarscher Alm chairlift: The chairlift takes you comfortably to a special kind of biking and hiking paradise. The valley station can be reached in a few minutes by car or by bus, starting from the train station in Laces.

  • Archery parcour Tarsch: Another leisure experience for the whole family is offered by the archery course at the valley station of the chairlift to the Tarscher Alm. On an area with around 28 stations, you can shoot at animal dummies from the areas of fantasy, Africa and the Alps. The course can be reached by bus from Laces train station.

Mountain biking in the Latsch-Martelltal holiday region is a real treat for beginners, but also for passionate mountain bikers and racing cyclists. The almost 170 kilometers of MTB trails around Latsch and the Martelltal are well signposted and promise lots of trail fun for everyone. The dry, flowing trails on the Sonneberg are known far beyond the borders and speak for themselves with the steppe-like, dry, varied tours.
